PART 2-chapters of coming of age

chapter 10:AJ
AJ has to decide where he wants to go to college because he is very famous and the newspaper and the TV come to his house because of that decision.
Ronell is getting on AJ's nerves,he wants to know the name of the college and he doesn't accept that AJ don't know it yet.
Ronell tells AJ from Franco's fight and that Ronell has bought a gun.

->AJ could change his life if he makes a good decision



chapter 11:Ronell
Tells Franco that he had a little fight in school with AJ and he talks about being a dealer and something about drugs.

chapter 12:AJ
He goes to the Florida State University and the newspaper and the TV is there again.Erika is very proud of him.
There is also a party and AJ and his guys think about the time they had spent together and about the future.

chapter 13: Ruthie
She has a lot of work to do(major history project,tutoring after school,...) and she has been selected as a finalist in the 1990 National Achievement and Scholarship for outstanding Negro Students competition.Everybody is proud of her,but she has again doubts about herself.
While tutoring the kids,she meets Anthony (AJ's little brother).Anthony has problems with reading and he finds school stupid.

->Anthony is the mirror of his social situation,he is also a victim of his family

chapter 14:Erika
There is a kind of competition between Erika and Shanice for the lead in the musical "Porgy and Bess".Erika has self-doubts("Am I too light to be a good Bess?),but she is also ready to fight for this role.

->she has to get a grip on her life!!!!


chapter 15:AJ
As he comes home,he finds Ruthie and Anthony and he isn't enthusiastic.Ruthie tells him off and later he is agree. Ruthie and Anthony can go out for an ice.

->I can't understand AJ!!!!Ruthie wants to help,not more!!!
->He is very confused because of Ruthie ;-)
